The all-new Capture is the most secure, convenient, accessible way to carry your camera, period. Unlike a camera strap, Capture keeps your camera rigidly stable while hiking, biking, or moving around the studio. Unlike a camera bag, Capture keeps your camera instantly accessible with the click of a button. Includes 2 components: a metal clip that clamps to any backpack strap, belt, or bag, and an Arca tripod-compatible plate that screws into the bottom of your camera. Your camera locks into the clip, where it is held rigidly and securely. Press the lockable quick-release button to remove. Holds well over 200 lbs. (90kg), making it strong enough for the heaviest of pro camera/lens combinations.
You paid good money for that camera, so get it out of your bag and use the dang thing. With Capture, you can safely and comfortably carry your camera anytime, anywhere, and always have instant access.
Take your camera out of CapturePRO and put it directly into your ARCA-type tripod with the included PROplate quick-release plate.

Works great with Pen F!
I was nervous this wouldn't work with my Pen F. The Pen F's tripod mount is too far forward, which causes tripods and plates to prevent large lenses from mounting. The Capture v2 plate just barely fits! No issues with even my largest diameter lenses. The Capture is well designe... Mored, and I'm loving it. Easy click in, easy one handed release. Even if the release spring fails your camera is secured to solid hardware, which I love. Pricey, but recommended. Well designed, super convenient. Less

All metal, all good!
So I finally made the purchase to this awesomely new version of the clip. I refuse to buy the previous version due to the locking piece inside the clip that holds the plate in the clip is made up of plastic that can (in my opinion) chip off in time therefore resulting in camera ... Moredrop. Though I never come across anyone who owns the previous version and experienced such a failure or seen any videos on the net about it but it wouldn't resolve my worries. Now it's all metal and it's all good! Less

Finally
I was going to buy the previous Capture Clip a while back but noticed that what holds the plate on the clip is actually plastic that I believe can chip off therefore resulting in camera drop. Though I have never come across a review in that matter or personally know anyone who's... More expirenced a failure on their clip, it wasn't worth the risk. So happy Peak Design finally came out with a version 2 built all metal and made the purchase. Thank you, Peak Design. Less
