The HX-WA30 integrates Wi-Fi® connectivity (802.11 b/g/n). With the “Panasonic Image App”, you can utilize a smartphone or tablet as another control / monitor to zoom and shoot from a distance.
Remote Browsing and SNS Upload
Playing back to confirm the image is possible so that you can continue shooting right at the spot without moving back to the camcorder to reset like you do with the self-timer function. You can instantly upload and share your images on SNS using the “Panasonic Image App" on a smartphone or tablet.

High Sensitivity BSI Sensor
The sensitivity of the CMOS sensor has been improved by BSI (Backside Illumination) sensor technology, so you can record clear images even in dimly lit places - like indoors or at parties.
28mm Wide-Angle*
The 28mm wide-angle* on the HX-WA30 fits more people and background into a frame. This comes in handy especially when you want to take a group shot in a small room. It fits your subjects in even when you shoot from up close, and makes it possible to pick up even small sounds with the mic.

16-Megapixel Still Picture Recording
The HX-WA30 captures even tiny details in 16-megapixel high-resolution still pictures. Depending on the situation, you can flexibly shoot either high-quality 16-megapixel photos or Full-HD videos. You can also capture 2-megapixel still images while recording a video by simply pressing the Photo Shooting Button.*

Creative Control provides 10 shooting modes for photo recording, including HDR Paint and Fish-eye Effect, for highly distinctive image expression.

Panorama Mode
Panorama makes it possible to shoot a horizontal / vertical panoramic image with consequent shots taken by overlaying the previous picture.
Turn 360° while shooting. This lets you capture expansive
scenery in a single still image.
Natural-looking images can be captured even when shooting against the light.
Burst Shooting
This function lets the camcorder snap up to 10 consecutive 3-megapixel still images, which are fired off at 1-second intervals for a total of 12 continuous images in about 1.2 seconds. You can use it to get good shots of subjects in fast motion. Just fire off a number of shots without stopping, then keep the best ones and delete the rest.
